Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations.
* Manage team performance, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity and morale.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
* Assist in training new staff members in culinary techniques, serving procedures, and customer service excellence.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
* Collaborate with management to develop menus, manage inventory, and optimise food production processes.
Skills
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
* Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation and cooking.
* Excellent team management abilities, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance.
* Previous experience in food production or kitchen management is advantageous.
