As a rotational Band 6 you will rotate into all key areas - T&O, Respiratory, Medical Rehabilitation, Neuro/Stroke and MSK with the option to rotate to Paediatrics, Oncology or Urgent care Therapy teams if service requirements allow. Rotations may be either at Tunbridge Wells or Maidstone Hospital.
Main duties of the job
You will have experience of working as part of an MDT and ensuring the clinical development of yourself and others and will demonstrate the ability to case manage through an understanding of the full patient pathway. You will be supported by experienced senior staff and will have the opportunity to develop both clinically and in your managerial skills, leading a team and or working with junior staff and students, depending on your level of experience. We offer a friendly and supportive working environment which actively supports Continuing Professional Development, through an established appraisal system, in-service training, and post graduate library facilities. You will be required to travel between the sites of Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells. You will be part of the Respiratory On-call service. On some rotations you will be part of a 7 day service.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Diploma / degree in physiotherapy
2. Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio including attendance at recent postgraduate courses relevant to the clinical field
3. HCPC Registration
Desirable criteria
4. Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
5. Involvement in CSP Special Clinical Interest Group
Experience/Knowledge
Essential criteria
6. Experience of working as part of a physiotherapy team and/or multidisciplinary team
7. Student or physiotherapy assistant supervision
8. Contribution to clinical education of less experienced staff or students or assistants
9. Remain updated with professional practice and new research
Desirable criteria
10. Experience of the working with stroke patients, general rehabilitation, Respiratory, Musculoskeletal Out Patients Orthopaedics
11. Knowledge of the workings of community physiotherapy services and intermediate care services
12. Involvement in audit, research and understanding quality issues
13. Competent IT skills
