About Forest Bridge School
Forest Bridge School is a new all-age Special Free School (ages 4-16) for children with autism, opened in September 2015 in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. The school provides a supportive environment with therapeutic support and excellent teaching to help pupils with autism reach their full potential. Our goal is to support each pupil's progress into training, employment, or further education. We are committed to creating a culture where every pupil can thrive and flourish.
Our aim is for Forest Bridge School to be an outstanding autism provision rooted in ABA, focusing on each individual pupil’s potential.
Partnership and Teaching Philosophy
We believe in close collaboration among all 'teachers' in a pupil’s life, including parents, teachers, behaviour therapists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and tutors, to deliver outstanding outcomes.
Career Development Opportunities
We offer an exciting career path with professional development and talent promotion opportunities, including a two-tier system where senior tutors focus on either teaching or ABA. Funding options for online Masters programmes and supervision hours towards BCBA and BCaBA accreditation are available. Initial Teacher Training is also a possibility for suitable candidates.
