Job Advert Huddersfield Town AFC Vacancy Security Officer Up to £26,000 per annum depending on skills and experience. Full-time (35 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends on a rota basis). Permanent. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to contribute to the safety and security provisions required at our Training Ground. Working as a member of a small but established security team, the post holder will play an important role in patrolling and monitoring the premises and personnel on site, also ensuring that no unauthorised visitors are able to access the site. The role involves having an overall awareness of internal and external factors that may impact on the safety and security of the premises and individuals’ experience. The post holder will be required to maintain up-to-date knowledge of daily operations and activity on site, and to be proactive and take appropriate action as required. As such, candidates are required to be fully conversant with all relevant legislation and Company policies and have an excellent understanding of best practice in health and safety, safeguarding, and PREVENT. Candidates must have previous, proven experience as a Security Officer with the ability to provide high quality customer service at all times. Applicants must have a good standard of general education at GCSE Level or equivalent. Additional qualifications relating to the security industry (e.g. SIA Licence), use of CCTV, Health and Safety, and First Aid would be advantageous. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to work non-standard hours in accordance with the operating hours of the site; the Training Ground is operational 365 days per year, and a consistent security presence is required.
