FACILITIES MANAGER

GRADE G SCP 23 – 27 (£34,434 – £38,220)

37 HOURS PER WEEK

ALL YEAR ROUND

PERMANENT CONTRACT

We are a 3-16 all age fully inclusive Academy. Our school is on an exciting journey, and we are incredibly proud of the culture we are building here. Our recent Ofsted inspection highlighted the fantastic progress we have made as an academy, and we are looking for someone to join us as we take our next steps. WE ARE SEEKING A PASSIONATE CANDIDATE WHO:

•Is a great team player, friendly and professional.

•Enjoys working as part of a team and be able to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff.

•Will quickly build rapport and effective professional relationships with both our young people and colleagues.

•Will enthuse and motivate colleagues and students to work hard and try their best.

•Has previous experience of working with children aged 11 -16 in an education setting.

•Demonstrates personal resilience and role models those personal qualities we wish to instil in our young people.

•Has the ability and willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.

•Is able to work the same shift patterns as the Site Team (6am - 2pm or 10am till 6pm)

YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:

To provide operational leadership for all aspects of facilities management across the school site, ensuring that buildings, services, and grounds are safe, secure, legally compliant, and fit for purpose. The role will be accountable for the effective management of statutory compliance, planned and reactive maintenance, health and safety, environmental sustainability, cleaning, security, and contractor performance. The post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering a proactive facilities strategy that supports teaching and learning, promotes best value, and ensures a high-quality, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
