Rochester (must have own transport due to limited public transport routes)
£25,700 per year + regular overtime – OPPORTUNITY TO EARN ££££££
40 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am – 1.30pm

Pearson Whiffin’s Manufacturing, Engineering and Technical team are delighted to be working with an excellent employer within the Medway area in their search for a Production Operative within their Shotblasting team!
This role involves:
1. Working in a manufacturing environment as part of a team, but working independently
2. Shot blasting manufactured components
3. Using hand and power tools
4. Following technical instructions to complete tasks accurately, accurately recording your work using touch screen systems and following processes
5. Quality checking your work
6. Manual handling to move materials around the factory
7. Assisting with additional tasks when required
The successful candidate will have:
8. Previous experience working in a physical factory-based role within manufacturing
9. Experience working within a relevant field – working with metal ideally
10. A good level of physical fitness, and be happy to carry out manual handling tasks
11. A positive attitude to work with a good track record of reliability
12. A good level of attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions closely
13. Flexibility in terms of the hours worked, with a willingness to undertake overtime
The best candidates will have:
14. Experience using a shot blaster
15. Prepared metal for painting previously
16. An interest in the automotive sector
17. A driving licence and your own vehicle
