Location: Park View Care Home, Feetham Avenue, Forest Hall
Contract: Full-time, with flexible hours and alternate weekends. Closing Date: Friday 31st October, 2025.

We are seeking a Care Assistant to support a busy care home with flexible hours, alternate weekends, and an opportunity to make a real difference.
Responsibilities
* Ensure residents are at the heart of care delivery, respecting their wishes and preferences to enhance wellbeing.
* Contribute to the efficient running of the service.
* Support residents to maintain relationships and connections with their local community.
* Follow care plans and other supporting information regarding residents.
* Inform the Senior Care Assistant/Nurse of any changes in a resident’s needs.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of those being supported.
Working With Others
* Develop effective working relationships with colleagues within the service.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for residents.
* Maintain and develop relationships with residents’ loved ones.

* Be professional, polite, and reasonable at all times.

* Know and work within the Fundamental Standards and regulatory framework (including CQC requirements).

Essential Criteria
* Good English (written and verbal).
Skills
* Proficient in writing to maintain care plans and records in line with service policy.
* Strong communication skills to build rapport with residents and inform colleagues and professionals about needs.
* Problem-solving skills to adapt to situations quickly and report safeguarding concerns.
* Ability to assist residents with daily tasks according to care plans (e.g., bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, toileting).
Experience
* Previous experience is not required.
