This Senior Mechanical Systems Trainer / Training Consultant role, based locally to York, Slough, or Livingston, involves delivering mechanical systems and confined spaces training courses that meet current legislation, health and safety guidance, and industry best practices.
The role requires someone who can confidently assess candidates, develop course content, and maintain high-quality standards. It is suited to an experienced hands-on engineer with strong technical knowledge across Mechanical Services, Building Services, or HVAC, who enjoys working with a wide range of learners across multiple locations and aims to develop current and future talent in the industry.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver training courses in line with current legislation and safety guidelines.
* Assess candidate performance against set criteria.
* Develop and deliver bespoke and open training sessions.
* Maintain training documentation and ensure content is up to date.
* Ensure compliance with awarding body requirements.

Candidate Requirements:
* Previous hands-on experience as a Mechanical, Building Services, or HVAC Engineer.

* Previous experience in training or coaching is highly beneficial.

Salary:
£45,000 - £48,000 + 33 Days Holiday (including Bank Holidays), Pension Scheme, Car Allowance, and more.
