Dover Fueling Solutions are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Fairbanks, Dover Fueling Solutions on a full-time and permanent basis in Skelmersdale.

For over 20 years, Fairbanks Environmental who are part of Dover Fueling Solutions, have been providing superior fuel management and forecourt services to the fuel market. Our services help to ensure legal compliance and protect the environment by detecting fuel leaks and preventing contamination.
What you will be doing:
We have an excellent opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our team in Skelmersdale on a full-time permanent basis. The Management Accountant will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate and insightful financial information to support effective decision making across the business and support with the following:
Prepare monthly management accounts to include profit and loss, balance sheet and variance analysis
Aid in month end close and group reporting process
Balance sheet review and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
Support the forecasting and budget process
Monitoring of Intercompany and fixed asset reporting
Support compliance activities and reporting including MSS/SAO/STBV/PSA
Complete expenses review and posting
Support cash management and reporting
Support VAT and tax reporting
General ledger activities and journal postings
AP transactional posting analysis and reporting
AR set-ups, transactional posting of sales invoices, analysis and reporting.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Help to identify improvements in working capital.
Create or improve operational efficiencies by process improvement and automation.
Provide timely and accurate financial information to the organisation including ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
The Successful Candidate will:
AAT Qualified and or studying towards CIMA, ACCA or QBE accountancy qualification
Have excellent attention to detail
Experience of management accounts preparation
Experience in financial forecasting
Experience providing sound financial guidance to aid decision making
Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement tools and techniques
Have an innovative and proactive approach to problem solving, able to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented.
Strong excel skills
Experience building strong relationships with stakeholders and third parties to ensure the most effective outcomes are delivered.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics BC and experience working in a Group setting is desirable but not essential
