Job Title: Proposal Writing Associate
Type: Fixed-term contract (3 months, with potential renewal)
Location: Remote, Nigeria-based
Compensation: ₦75,000/month + post-contract upgrade pathway
Reports to: Grant Writing & Proposals Lead
About the role
You will draft business proposals for Career Bridge Foundation's partnerships and commercial opportunities. This includes proposals to universities, training providers, government departments, and corporate partners. Where grant writing is about funder alignment, proposal writing is about commercial value — clearly demonstrating how Career Bridge can solve a partner's problem.
What you'll do
* Draft commercial and partnership proposals under guidance from the Grant Writing & Proposals Lead
* Tailor proposals to specific partners — research their priorities, language, and decision-making criteria
* Maintain a proposal library of reusable components (case studies, capability statements, pricing models)
* Track proposal outcomes and contribute to win-rate analysis
* Contribute to a target of 4+ proposal submissions per month

Requirements
* 1+ years of proposal writing, business development support, or commercial writing experience
* Strong business writing skills with a sample to share
* Commercial awareness — you understand that proposals are sales documents, not academic exercises
* Strong research skills; able to learn a partner's business quickly
* Coachable, deadline-driven, organised
