Procurement Analyst
Locations: Bupa Place (Salford Quays), Willow House (Staines, TW18 3DZ), Kirkstall Forge (Leeds, LS5 3BF). FTC 12 months. Full time 37.5 hours, Hybrid working. Salary: £40,000+ per annum (dependent on experience). Advert closes Friday 5th June 2026.
About the role
As a Procurement Analyst, you’ll support how we work with suppliers, ensuring they meet our standards and manage risk in a simple, effective way. You’ll be part of our Procurement team, working with colleagues across the business to build strong, trusted supplier relationships that protect our customers and support better outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Run the full supplier segmentation process and ensure suppliers are correctly classified.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records and support data requests.
* Support risk governance meetings and help keep things on track.
* Manage the supplier due diligence process, including sending questions and centrally tracking outstanding issues.
* Collaborate with experts across the business to support our risk processes.
* Track progress and share simple, useful updates.
* Support the supplier assurance programme, including planning and tracking audits.
* Work with internal teams and external auditors to agree audit scope and timelines.
* Track audit progress, findings and actions.
* Summarise outcomes so others can understand key points quickly.
* Support risk and control reporting and updates.
* Help improve processes, templates and training materials.
* Provide training for colleagues across Procurement.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
* Identify supply‑chain risks and help manage them.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in a similar analyst role, ideally within risk, assurance or governance.
* Understanding of regulated environments, such as FCA guidelines.
* Confidence using Excel and similar tools to manage and analyse data.
* Good knowledge of supply chains and risk identification/management.
* Ability to analyse information and explain it in a clear, simple way.
* Well organised and able to manage your own workload.
* Comfortable working with people across different teams and levels.
* Practical approach with a focus on improving processes.
* Strong focus on delivering a good experience for customers and stakeholders.
