Social Worker - Family Support & Intervention
£37.54 per hour
North Wales
37 hours p/w, hybrid
About the role:
We have an opportunity for a temporary, experienced Social Worker to work alongside the Safeguarding & Legal team in our client's Children, Families and Safeguarding Service. The contract will initially be for 12 weeks with the possibility of extension.
The suitable candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality social work services to children and their families who have unmet needs or are at risk of harm/significant harm.
Social Workers are expected to provide support, develop resilience and independence, and ensure that children and their families are at the centre of decision-making about their lives and desired outcomes, without compromising the child's safety.
Requirements:
* A degree in Social Work or equivalent
* Registered with Social Care Wales
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience plus technology & software skills
* Enhanced DBS check
* Teamwork & interpersonal skills
