1:1 GCSE Tutor Location: Nottingham (NG13 and surrounding areas) Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, personalised tuition to GCSE students in one or more core subjects (e.g. Maths, English, Science). Assess each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, adapting teaching methods and resources accordingly. Provide engaging, confidence-building lessons that inspire academic progress and independent learning. Prepare students for GCSE exams, including revision techniques, exam strategies, and practice papers. Track and report on student progress to parents/carers and, where applicable, schools or educational coordinators. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A strong academic background and subject knowledge at GCSE level. Teaching qualification. Previous experience tutoring or teaching students. A patient, supportive, and motivational approach to teaching. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build a positive rapport with young people.
