This will be an office-based role with the opportunity for one day at home per week following the initial training period.
Salary: Circa k per annum (depending on experience) plus car allowance, excellent profit share, profit bonus, and benefits.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Finance to join our senior management team at our head office in Lytham St Annes. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant overseeing all financial aspects of the business, driving financial strategy and planning, and assessing the company's financial performance.
This role requires a balance of hands-on work and strategic planning. Experience working with and influencing senior leaders and board-level stakeholders is essential.

Role and Responsibilities
* Supporting a finance team of 12, including direct responsibility for 3 members (Accountant, Finance Manager, and Finance Systems Manager).
* Driving strategies related to financial planning, cost savings, legislation, and budgeting.
* Monitoring financial activities, presenting results and recommendations to the board.
* Producing management accounts, overseeing audits, and ensuring internal controls.
* Conducting financial analysis and preparing forecasts.
* Ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
* Managing cash flow, scenario planning, and director/shareholder responsibilities.
* Supporting key business projects and managing group tax matters.
* Maintaining relationships with budget managers and providing financial insights.
Skills and Experience
* Broad knowledge of accounting, finance, and business principles.
* Qualified accountant with management accounting experience.
* Experience in multisite retail/ecommerce is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of cash flow, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
* Experience with budgeting and risk management.
* Analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
* Effective communicator and team builder.
* Experience working with senior leaders is essential.
