The CE Affiliates Marketing Manager sits within the DTC Marketing Team, who are responsible for all Performance Marketing for SEUK and our Direct to Consumer Ecommerce Store – Samsung Shop. They will report into our Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager, and will responsible for managing Affiliates campaigns across the TV/AV, Home Appliance & Display divisions whilst contributing to a wide range of marketing innovation projects.

Role and Responsibilities

What will this role achieve?

This role will deliver the SEUK Affiliates strategy and activity – focusing on our three core DTC storefronts – Samsung Shop (Direct to Consumer), Student.com (Unidays, Student Beans…) and our Employee Portal Platform (Blue Light Card, Reward Gateway…).

The role will be responsible for managing and expanding our Affiliate Network, through working directly with major Affiliates and our Affiliate Agency. The role will focus predominantly on our TV/AV, Home Appliance & Display products, but there will be collaborative working with our Smartphone, Tablets, Computing, Buds... division.

They will ensure all Affiliate Activity drives cost efficient revenue growth; working closely with our Online Trading & Commercial Teams to ensure offers are promoted effectively across our Network, and that activity is delivered on time, to budget and exceeds sales targets. As an Affiliate Expert, they will be an ambassador for Affiliate Marketing across the wider business, and be ahead of the latest trends in the Affiliate and technology space.

They will work closely with our Affiliate agency, building strong relationships to ensure our activity is continually being optimised and improving – testing new ideas and initiatives rigorously, and presenting back plans and strategies to both their line manager and internal/external stakeholders

Your key responsibilities

The successful candidate will be the owner of Affiliates campaign execution across TV/AV, Home Appliance & Display divisions, delivering against S.com traffic & sell-out objectives.

1. Develops and delivers our Affiliate Marketing strategy & approach for SEUK, to hit agreed Samsung Shop KPIs (traffic, orders, conversion, revenue) across all three storefronts.

2. Manages Affiliate Agency & Direct Partners to ensure we are getting best ROAS on all performance activity, and that we are hitting agreed targets across product divisions.

3. Acts as the main resource for Affiliate Marketing at Samsung, encouraging relationships with internal teams.

4. Present during the weekly trading meetings the last week performance and forward priorities

5. Collaborates with agency partners to communicate plans and strategies to managers and team, ensuring campaigns meet scope, timing, and budget.

6. Owns the CE Affiliate Marketing seven digits budget

7. Reviews performance of activity against Samsung KPIs; define test & learn roadmaps to ensure continual optimisation of Affiliate Programme.

8. Manages all technical/API integrations as required to ensure activity is personalised, timely and relevant; and tracked effectively.

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

9. You will have an excellent knowledge of Affiliate Marketing, and demonstrable experience of growing DTC traffic & revenues through this channel. Ideally for a large multi-national ecommerce business with large cross-functional teams.

10. 5 years+ experience in Affiliate Marketing

11. You will be commercially focused & data driven, when building media plans, analyse performance and share optimisation recommendations.

12. Excellent project management skills, capable of balancing multiple campaigns and projects and meeting required deadlines

13. A great team member excels at encouraging strong working relationships with internal collaborators and agencies

14. Outstanding communication, presentation & organisational skills, with a strong focus on delivery & attention to detail

15. Succeed in a high-energy B2C atmosphere by being adaptable and ready to change directions as needed

16. You should also have working knowledge of common Affiliate Marketing tools, and be on top of the latest trends in the industry & broader context in the Digital Marketing industry (e.g. cookie deprecation) and corresponding challenges
