Job Description
We are seeking a professional and detail oriented Associate Dentist to join our thriving private dental practice in Romford. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist with a genuine interest in Orthodontics and aesthetic dentistry to develop their clinical expertise within a patient focused environment.
The successful candidate will deliver high quality general dentistry whilst contributing to our commitment to creating beautiful, healthy smiles for our patients.
* Working: Wednesdays, Thursdays and 1 Saturday per month
* Provide comprehensive general dental treatment including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
* Deliver aesthetic and cosmetic dental procedures with a focus on smile design and patient satisfaction
* Develop and expand orthodontic knowledge and skills, working towards greater involvement in orthodontic cases along with our Ortho Therapist
* Maintain meticulous clinical records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory and practice standards
* Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment options and building trust and confidence
* Collaborate with the wider dental team to ensure seamless patient care and practice efficiency
* Adhere to all infection control protocols, health and safety regulations, and professional guidelines
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical standards and patient experience
* Engage in ongoing professional development and appraisal to enhance clinical competence
* Utilise practice management software and digital systems to optimise patient care and administrative efficiency

Qualifications
* Current General Dental Council (GDC) registration and valid practising certificate
* Proven clinical experience in general dentistry
* Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of Orthodontic principles and treatment
* Strong expertise in aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry techniques
* Excellent clinical examination, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
* Proficiency with dental practice management software and digital dentistry systems
* Outstanding people skills and ability to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues
* Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to clinical excellence
* Strong understanding of infection control and health and safety compliance
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team based environment
* Desirable: Previous experience in private dental practice
* Desirable: Formal training or certification in orthodontics or aesthetic dentistry
* Desirable: Experience with advanced cosmetic and smile design procedures
