Job Title: Livestock Administration Manager (12-Month Maternity Cover)
Location: Nelson
Salary: £31,580 - £54,600 + Benefits
Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor the livestock administration team while overseeing the accurate and timely processing of livestock payments.
* Manage livestock systems in collaboration with IT.
* Act as the central contact point for farmers, buyers, and factory queries.
* Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of livestock data.
* Work closely with finance to maintain account accuracy and meet deadlines.
* Support forecasting to aid operational planning.
* Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflows.
The Ideal Candidate
* Motivated leader with strong organisational, communication, and administrative skills.
* Background in agriculture, livestock operations, or the agricultural supply chain would be beneficial.
* Proven team management experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
* Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
