We are looking for a physiotherapist with a clinical background in neurological or cardiorespiratory physiotherapy to develop and deliver high-quality learning and teaching for the Integrated Masters in Physiotherapy programme at Plymouth Marjon University. Candidates must be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, with experience working in the National Health Service.
The successful applicant will join a team of highly motivated multidisciplinary professionals. Duties include:
1. Contributing to the development and operation of the Marjon Physiotherapy Clinic.
2. Supervising students in the student-led physiotherapy clinic to provide effective client services and valuable learning experiences.
3. Leading modules across all academic years, developing and managing teaching specific modules.
4. Participating in academic activities such as personal development tutoring, placement support, knowledge exchange, and research.
5. Supporting the development and delivery of onsite physiotherapy and wellbeing clinics.
We are launching a new student-led Physiotherapy Clinic focused on neurological rehabilitation, running 36 weeks per year aligned with student placement blocks. This role offers supervision and mentorship opportunities, serving the local community with high-quality, person-centered care at an affordable price.
