The role
As a Finance Analyst at Halfords, you’ll be part of the Commercial Finance team that supports our growing Garages division. Working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll provide the reporting, analysis and insight that helps shape decisions and drive stronger sales and margin performance. It’s a role with real variety, from month-end reporting and forecasting to ad hoc projects and commercial analysis that directly influence how we operate.
You’re confident working in a fast-paced environment with strong Excel skills and a real eye for detail. Whether it’s analysing risks and opportunities, producing clear KPI reporting, or supporting budget and reforecasting cycles, you enjoy turning numbers into insight and insight into action. You’re also studying towards, or planning to study towards, CIMA or ACCA ready to develop your technical expertise while learning from experienced finance partners.
This is a chance to get close to the commercial side of the business, supporting a division that’s central to Halfords’ growth. You’ll build relationships with stakeholders across the Garages team, collaborate with colleagues in finance, and gain wide exposure to the decisions that shape both day-to-day trading and long-term strategy. If you’re curious, proactive and keen to make your mark in commercial finance, this is the role for you.
