Job Description
Principal People are working with a well-established Aggregates organisation that is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to support two of their sites over the next 12 months on the Hampshire/Wiltshire borders. The role involves providing operational health and safety support to the business and sites.
This is a flexible, hybrid role requiring coverage on both sites with occasional work at the Head Office in Hampshire.
Responsibilities:
1. Site health and safety inspections
2. Continued support of site health and safety improvements
3. Supporting management teams
4. Updating relevant documentation
5. Reviewing RAMS
6. Reviewing any site health and safety failings
What We're Looking For:
* NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or equivalent as a minimum
* Experience with similar risks – Construction, Aggregates, Heavy Plant, Quarrying, Waste Management, Engineering, Logistics
* Experience of moving plant, machinery, and managing site traffic
* Willing to work part-time (3 days per week)
* Open to working across multiple sites
* Strong communication skills, able to liaise at all levels
