Position: Domestic Assistant
Location: Norfolk and Norwich Hospital
Hours: 14:00 - 22:00 (Weekends, including unpaid break)
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our hospital remains a clean, hygienic, and welcoming space for both patients and staff. Your efforts will contribute directly to patient care and infection control, making a real impact in the healthcare industry.
What You'll Do:
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including:
Deep cleaning and terminal cleans
Dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
sanitising toilets, bathrooms, and patient areas
Remove and dispose of various types of waste in compliance with infection control protocols
Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies under the supervision of our Dispatcher
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the facility What We're Looking For:
Strong cleaning abilities with attention to detail
Excellent time management skills to handle a fast-paced environment
Basic literacy and numeracy skills to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
