Are you a commercially minded SEO specialist who enjoys owning organic growth within a fast-moving lifestyle ecommerce environment?
Do you thrive at the intersection of content, technology, and performance - turning search intent into traffic, conversion, and long-term brand value?
Do you want full ownership of SEO strategy and the opportunity to shape how organic search supports commercial growth?
MacGregor Black is partnering with a growing lifestyle brand to appoint an SEO Manager based in London. This is a permanent role with end-to-end ownership of organic search strategy across the brand’s ecommerce platform.
As the SEO Manager, you will be reporting into the Digital & Ecommerce leadership team. You will also be responsible for scaling organic visibility, strengthening technical foundations, and ensuring SEO is embedded into content and trading decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and execute the SEO strategy across the DTC website.
* Drive organic traffic and revenue growth across category, product, and editorial content.
* Partner with Engineering and Product teams to improve technical SEO performance (crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, migrations).
* Conduct keyword research, search intent analysis, and content gap identification to inform content and optimisation plans.
* Optimise site architecture, internal linking, templates, and on-page SEO across priority pages.
* Collaborate with Content, Brand, and Ecommerce teams to align SEO with trading priorities and seasonal campaigns.
* Monitor algorithm updates and competitor landscape, turning insights into clear actions and priorities.
* Track rankings, organic revenue, conversion, and SEO-led commercial performance; report on outcomes and opportunities.
* Own SEO tooling and dashboards (e.g., Google Search Console, GA4, crawling/rank tracking tools) and ensure consistent measurement.
What We’re Looking For?
* Proven SEO experience within lifestyle, consumer, or ecommerce brands (in-house or agency, with clear outcomes).
* Strong technical SEO capability alongside content-led optimisation and on-page best practice.
* Commercial mindset with a clear understanding of SEO’s impact on revenue, conversion, and customer acquisition.
* Confident working cross-functionally with developers and stakeholders in agile environments.
* Comfortable prioritising a roadmap and communicating trade-offs clearly.
