RedLaw are partnering with a top-tier Global law firm who are looking for a Senior Conflicts Lawyer to join their New Business Intake team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the conflicts processes and policies for the firm, in addition to acting as a key advisor to partners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the firm are protected from risk in relation to conflicts, covering the firm's international and US offices
* Reviewing and improving the firm's conflicts processes and policies on an ongoing basis
* Acting as a point of escalation for the rest of the team for complex queries
* Taking the lead on internal investigations relating to conflicts
* Providing guidance to the Professional Claims team on potential conflicts of interest
* Advising on conflict-related clauses within bespoke client agreements
* Contributing to the development and enhancement of technology for managing conflicts and information barriers
* Designing and implementing training for the wider-firm in relation to conflicts
Person requirements:
* Must be a qualified lawyer with 5+ years' demonstratable experience managing conflicts of interest within a law firm
* Must be familiar with conflicts of interest rules under the SRA
* Experience of handling conflicts of interest under international jurisdictions is highly desirable
* Must be able to deliver effective solutions to an international business
