Almozene Nursery are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team.
You will carry out Key person responsibilities such as observing and assessing. You should be able to plan, implement and evaluate activities that will stretch and challenge the children.
Applicants must have good knowledge and understanding of child development, Ofsted welfare requirements, safeguarding and EYFS
Duties will include
Helping to lead and guide Nursery Practitioners, assistants, apprentices and students within a room and whole Nursery.
Supporting the management team in the day to day operations
Potentially deputizing in the Manager's absence
Mentoring and providing guidance to other staff members in areas such as observations, record keeping.
Delivering high quality learning and development opportunities for the children within the Nursery
Planning and implementing a range of activities that supports the child as a whole, both indoors and outdoors.
Providing a happy safe but yet fun loving environment
Plan, prepare and review the curriculum with your team
Ensure policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to
Supervise and engage with children during their time at Nursery, ensuring their safety and well-being
Good communication skills eg effective communication with children in order to support their learning and emotional needs and also good communication with parents, fostering good parent partnership
Candidates must be willing to take on new training.
