This post is for 12 months and focuses on training in Adult Degenerative Pathologies, including Adult and Transitional Spinal Deformity. Time is allocated for research and teaching. There is no on‑call commitment for the successful candidate. However, there will be an opportunity to rotate with neurosurgical colleagues to gain experience in cervicothoracic junction deformity. The post‑holder is expected to act as a senior registrar, provide leadership and support for other trainees, and participate in research projects and audits, with support to produce peer‑reviewed papers and audits.

Qualifications
* Current trainee (orthopaedic or neurosurgical background) with a major interest in developing a career in spinal surgery.
