Customer Team Leader
Location: Westergate Street, Woodgate, PO20 3QL
Pay: £13.99 per hour
Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early morning, afternoons, late evenings, and weekends, to be discussed at interview. This role is for our recently opened new store and will be an opportunity to join our brand new team in Woodgate.
What you’ll do
* Friendly and thoughtful service – provide friendly, welcoming, easy, helpful and thoughtful service every day, often taking ownership for managing the store and handling challenging situations
* Develop your team’s capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone’s voice is valued and respected
* Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational
* Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to make shopping a great experience for our customers
* Support the store manager by deputising when they’re not working and delivering a variety of HR processes
* Lead the way when introducing new products and services in your store – work closely with your team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback
* Build relationships and get involved in your local community, supporting the Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co‑op community plan
