We are looking for a proactive Project Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team to support the successful financial management of our projects. You’ll take ownership of subcontractor procurement, manage client variations, oversee valuations and accounts, and contribute to vital CVR and financial reporting—making a real impact on performance and profitability.

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead the full sub-contract procurement process—from enquiries to signed agreements
2. Review and negotiate competitive subcontractor quotations
3. Manage valuations and payments, ensuring accurate and timely accounts
4. Take ownership of final accounts and client variations, securing best value
5. Support key monthly CVR and P&L reporting to track project performance
6. Prepare and submit applications for payment with confidence and accuracy
7. Carry out site measurements to keep projects on track and on budget
8. Support and mentor junior team members, helping them thrive
9. Be an active voice in project meetings, collaborating across teams
10. Keep everything running smoothly with strong admin and compliance standards
11. Continuously develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic environment

What You’ll Bring:

12. A relevant qualification (HND, BSc or equivalent) and a valid CSCS card
13. Strong construction knowledge, including methods, measurement, and standard contracts
14. Solid industry experience with a sharp commercial mindset
15. Confident communication and negotiation skills to drive the best outcomes
16. A highly organised approach with excellent time management
17. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
18. Confident communicator with strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
19. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
