The Role This role involves setting up and running laser cutting and punch machinery, maintaining accuracy throughout production, and ensuring a steady workflow so high-quality parts are delivered on time and to trusted industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate laser cutting and punch machines efficiently, ensuring accuracy and high-quality output
* Load and unload materials and cut parts, ensuring proper handling and storage
* Quality check finished products and report any issues
* Follow Health & Safety protocols
* Keep the working area clean, tidy and hazard-free
* Carry out any other duties as required
About You:
* Experience setting and operating Trumpf or Amada laser cutting machines
* Keen to be hands-on
* Experience working in engineering and willing to learn
* From a manufacturing or production background
* Physically able and comfortable with heavy lifting
* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
* A naturally forward planner
