Job Opportunity – Interim Part Time Senior Accountant - North West England
One of my local authority clients based in the North West of England are currently on the lookout for an Interim Senior Accountant to join their team on a part time basis.
Contract Duration: 3 Months +
Rate: DOE
IR35: Inside.
Hybrid: X1 day in office per week is the preference (Can be flexible on this for the right candidate).
Start Date: ASAP
* Going through closedown for the Place directorate.
* Budget monitoring, writing reports.
* Understanding the services financial position at all times.
* Working closely with the head of service.
* Must have local government experience with the preference being specific local authority experience. Will not consider candidates who only have private sector experience.
* Do not necessarily need to be a fully qualified accountant, happy to also consider candidates who are part qualified or qualified through experience.
* Will have experience with accruals, journals, recharges, budget monitoring writing reports etc.
