* Meeting with clients to discuss their practical and emotional needs and compete the support care plan.
* To encourage and support the lives individual's wish to lead, make decisions, have as many choices about their lives as possible and be supported to take appropriate risks.
* Assisting with domestic tasks including shopping, washing, cooking and cleaning.
* Tending to healthcare needs of each client.
* Training family members in basic support techniques.
* Helping clients to participate in leisure activities.
* Making case notes and managing the case logbook.
· You may also be required to remind individuals to take medication.
· You will be expected to treat individuals that you are paid to support, with dignity and respect at all times.
· You are also required to be aware of, and follow procedures for, reporting any safeguarding concerns or incidents.
· Keep accurate records (where required), complete training, attend team meetings and supervision (when required).
· You are also obligated to ensure the health, safety and welfare of those you support and your other team members.
· You are expected to work as part of a team and to support others in doing their jobs.
· You may be asked to work with other team members as required including attending meetings.
· You will be required to perform all duties in accordance with the Rose NI Ltd policies and procedures
