The Opportunity
I’m working with a well-established FMCG manufacturer in West Lothian who are looking to bring in an experienced Senior Production Planner to strengthen their planning function.
This is a key role in the business — you’ll be right at the centre of operations, ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with customer demand. It’s initially a 6‑month contract, but there is a genuine long‑term opportunity for the right person.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Developing and managing detailed production plans across multiple lines
* Balancing demand, capacity, and materials to hit OTIF targets
* Working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams
* Managing stock levels, minimising waste, and improving efficiencies
* Responding to changing priorities and resolving planning issues quickly
* Driving continuous improvement within the planning process
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a Production Planning role within FMCG or manufacturing
* Strong understanding of supply chain and production flow
* Experience using SAP
* Excellent organisation and problem‑solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
* Someone who can challenge, influence, and bring structure
