I am working with a local company searching for a Business Development Executive to join their team.
Customer satisfaction has been at the forefront of their business since 2002, providing high-quality products to their area.
Job Responsibilities:
You will be part of the business development team to bring in new business and provide clients with great account management.
* Process customer orders and upsell products to every customer.
* Become a product expert to provide clients with a great service.
* Bring in new business through a variety of different avenues.
* Recognise customer’s potential for further business.
* Organise direct and inbound deliveries through suppliers to complete all orders.
* Check every Purchase order to ensure stock availability and discounts available.
* Check orders for errors.
* Manage current accounts to ensure they have no questions – introducing them to new products when available.
* Speak with customers on the phone and by email to process all orders.
* Proactively call suppliers to see what discounts can be applied to each order.
* Take ownership of complex orders and liaise with the relevant departments.
* Report any financial discrepancies to the finance team.
* Keep up to date with various sales inboxes.
* Ad-hoc duties.
Your Experience:
* Experience working within a sales team (within an IT or technical background would be a bonus).
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
* Able to solve customer issues and help with any questions.
