This full-time, permanent position has a starting salary of £31,659 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week.

The office base for this position is Victoria Gate, Chobham Road, Woking, GU21 6JD and the role is open to hybrid working.
Our Education Business Support teams provide support to front line workers and, whilst you won't be required in the office five days a week, there is the expectation you will work in the office on a rota basis at least two days a week. Core working hours are 09:00am-17:00pm to ensure full cover is provided to operational teams and front-line call lines.

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Team Administrator to join our dynamic Business Support Team within the Children, Families & Lifelong Learning directorate. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will play a key part in supporting education services and ensuring smooth, efficient processes for frontline teams.
As a Senior Team Administrator in our Business Support Team, you will work collaboratively with education professionals and partner agencies to deliver timely and accurate support. You will manage complex workflows, ensuring priorities are met and processes run seamlessly, while also guiding and supporting junior colleagues to foster a positive and productive team environment.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and confident in setting priorities while meeting deadlines. You will be skilled at using your initiative to identify opportunities for streamlining and process improvement, and be comfortable taking ownership of specific areas, ensuring all aspects of workflow are completed to a consistently high standard.
Your key responsibilities as a Senior Team Administrator will include:
10. Processing referrals and distributing reports
11. Liaising with professionals across Education and external agencies
12. Maintaining accurate records, spreadsheets, and databases
13. Responding to telephone enquiries and providing clear, professional communication
14. Taking and distributing meeting notes promptly to all relevant parties
15. Monitoring timescales and providing performance information to support service delivery

16. Strong administrative and organisational ability, with the willingness to learn and develop new skills
17. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication
18. Ability to manage priorities and deadlines, and the resilience to adapt to changing processes
19. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools
20. Confidence in using initiative to work, sometimes under pressure, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
21. Experience supervising or mentoring staff
A Basic DBS 'Disclosure and Barring Service' check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) will be required for this role.
