A job vacancy has arisen in the administration department for an office administrator. The role is to work with the Logistics Administrator processing the paperwork for Peppers products to be shipped out in the UK and Worldwide. This is a busy and responsible position ensuring that our goods arrive at the customer on time, with the correct documentation and without issues.
The role also includes general admin duties, answering the phone, filing, answering the door intercom and receiving visitors.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Process each Customer order, inputting information on P-Ex to create despatch paperwork.
* Run daily reports to ensure goods leave here on time.
* Ensure accuracy with data entry.
* Book the goods with the appropriate courier using a multitude of online booking portals – TNT, DHL, DSV, UPS, Axis, etc.
* Take ownership of resolving problems when they arise e.g., couriers losing goods, so that they are resolved quickly.
* Accurate daily filing of job files.
Knowledge and Skills
* Experience in use of internet systems – setting up new addresses, accounts, using Government websites for licences (training will be provided).
* Geographical knowledge is helpful.
* Excellent grammar and spelling.
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.
* Ability to deal with customers, couriers and freight forwarders on the phone and via email.
* Must value working as a team to ensure assistance is given when needed.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday 8.00-16.30
* Lunch 12.00-13.00
