Corning Treasury Services UK LTD is looking for a
Treasury Analyst
Your role in a nutshell:
We’re on the hunt for a sharp, driven, and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to help us build out a new cash pool in EMEA.
In the role you will be providing support to Treasury leadership with Treasury related tasks and administration, including cash reporting, cash optimization, cash-flow forecasting, developing and documenting policies and procedures, assisting in the management of bank operations to provide a world class Treasury service.
In addition, you will experience other areas of Treasury, such as Risk Management, Capital Markets & FX Management.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
6. Participate in Treasury projects in various fields, such as Treasury restructuring, bank relationship rationalization, bank cost optimization.
7. Assist in the setup and management of a new Notional Cash pool in EMEA.
8. Maintain direct relationships with EMEA banking providers.
9. Interact with cash pool participants where necessary to validate cash balances, discuss cash surplus/deficit where appropriate.
10. Assist in forecasting cash requirements and optimizing cash position (Cash pool and entity level) as well as managing our global Area of World cash forecasting process.
11. Monitor the overall position of the cash pool daily to maintain appropriate cash levels.
12. Actively search for process improvements and support Treasury projects.
13. Assist with statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
14. Closely cooperate with regional and global Treasury teams.
15. Willing to be involved in other areas of Treasury (Capital Markets, FX management & Business Risk Management).
16. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
17. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Treasury initiatives.
What you’ll bring to the team:
18. Treasury & Cash Management knowledge, and experience (2+ years)
19. Advanced Excel knowledge and other office products
20. Comfortable working in fast paced, multinational environment
21. Familiarity with Treasury management systems and software is an advantage
22. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
23. Degree in Business, Finance or Economics
24. Self-starter who can work under pressure and meet deadlines
25. Very good organisation skills and have a structured approach
26. Flexibility in working hours as needed
27. Team player with strong interpersonal skills
