The Role/Opportunity

Monkfield Reptile are a well-established market leader in live food, reptiles and reptile products serving the pet industry globally.

A new position is available for a Customer Service Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Customer Service Team in a growing business based near Ely with opportunity for future progression. Prior experience in customer Service is essential.

Full Time hours are 9.00am-5.00pm

Key Responsibilities

* Be the friendly first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and support cases, ensuring every interaction feels valued.
* Provide clear, helpful answers to a wide range of enquiries and guide customers through our processes.
* Manage orders, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and efficiency.
* Take ownership of customer complaints, working to resolve issues quickly and fairly.
* Spot opportunities to recommend products and services that add value for customers.
* Keep accurate, detailed records of all customer interactions to support smooth follow-ups.
* Partner with teammates and other departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.
* Lend a hand to colleagues when workloads peak — teamwork is key here.
* Coordinate european customer orders and ensure timely fulfilment.
* Use active listening and problem-solving skills to deliver solutions while building your product knowledge.

* Responsible for the proactive reporting and escalation of health and safety issues and concerns as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have the following Qualifications & Experience

* Experience in customer service and/or sales role
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent time management and prioritising skills
* Excellent team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Good all-round IT Skills
* Excellent telephone manner
* Adept at learning (we have a database of over 2000 product codes)

Due to our location, you must be able to travel to the office.
