A vacancy at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The Neurophysiology service at York provides a wide range of complex, specialist diagnostic procedures to the city and wider surrounding area. These include routine, sleep, portable (ICU, neonatal, medical wards) and ambulatory EEGs, IP Video‑Telemetry as well as Home Video Ambulatory EEGs, EMG/NCS, SEPs (department and ICU based), pattern and flash VEPs, ERGs and EOG.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Neurophysiology Department for an enthusiastic, experienced individual to join our fantastic small team of dedicated Clinical Physiologists, Assistants and Trainees, working closely with Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologists.
This is a band 6, Specialised Physiologist post in Neurophysiology at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Consideration would be given to a less experienced / newly qualified physiologist if you were the right candidate. If successful, this position would commence on a band 5 salary.
Although the service is situated on the York site, there is expectation in the future that services will occasionally be provided at other sites so a willingness to travel is required.
