Job Description
Responsibilities for the Production Manager include:
1. Lead day‑to‑day production operations across a high‑mix, fast‑moving schedule environment.
2. Supervise supervisors, leads, and superintendent‑level personnel.
3. Drive workflow optimization, recovery plans, and data‑driven decision making.
4. Maintain quality, safety, and operational standards across the production floor.
5. Partner cross‑functionally to escalate issues quickly and support engineering changes.
6. Oversee execution within a highly automated sheet‑metal and assembly operation.
7. Support maturity building across the team and strengthen leadership layers.
8. Contribute to scaling from small job‑shop workflows to large‑scale, automated production.
9. Utilize ERP systems and operational data to improve output, efficiency, and stability.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Manager should have:
10. Strong production or operations leader with experience in large or rapidly scaling manufacturing environments.
11. Hands‑on, present on the floor, and effective at mentoring supervisors and leads.
12. Background in automation required; sheet metal experience strongly preferred.
13. Comfortable with high‑mix operations, frequent engineering changes, and evolving workflows.
14. Skilled in data‑driven decision making, communication, and cross‑functional leadership.
15. Experience with workflow optimization, quality, safety, and ERP systems.
16. Candidates with military leadership backgrounds may be a strong fit.
