Internal Comms ChannelsConsultant: We’re looking for a dynamic individual to spearhead the development and execution of a digital internal communications strategy that drives employee engagement and fosters a unified culture as we integrate three businesses.
In this pivotal role, you’ll enhance the digital employee experience by optimising communication tools, leading our intranet review project, and promoting intuitive, self-service solutions that empower teams throughout the organisation.
Main Responsibilities as Internal Comms Channel Consultant:
1. Develop and execute an internal communications digital channel strategy aligned with business goals.
2. Review existing tools ( MS Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage, signage) and develop recommendations for the future approach as part of the integration with another business, followed by a collaborative implementation plan.
3. Lead the intranet review and potential redevelopment to improve user experience and aligned to information security standards.
4. Establish and lead a network of content creators across the business to review and refresh intranet content.
5. Stay abreast of new functionality and tools and provide strategic guidance on digital channel best practice.
6. Engage stakeholders and track performance to drive continuous improvement in our digital internal comms channels.
Skills and experience you need as Internal Comms Channel Consultant:
7. Strong proficiency in MS365 tools and ability to advise on their set up, governance and best practice. Previous experience in implementing new intranets and MS365 tools.
8. Extensive in internal communications channels management ideally within a regulated, fast-paced organisations.
9. Ability to bridge the gap between the user experience and communication functionality and the technical teams that own the MS relationships and administration.
10. Excellent project and senior stakeholder management, with a consultative mindset, able to deliver in a complex and evolving environment
11. Skilled at translating business communication needs into effective digital solutions.
12. Insight-led approach, leveraging data and trends to inform channel strategy and performance.
