An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior IT Project Manager to join our team at Hampshire County Council.

Expect to:
* Keep all the key players up to date with progress on your projects.
* Have excellent communications and interpersonal skills to give confidence and clarity as a project manager.
* Keep detailed records of the key features of your projects.
* Manage risks and issues within your projects.
* Manage your project resources and project budgets effectively.
* Lead small project teams to successful delivery.
* Have an opportunity to learn and develop into a more experienced project manager.

Someone who is:
* Passionate about delivery projects to time, cost and quality.
* A natural organiser with close attention to detail.
* Someone with a keen interest and a good level of understanding of IT and technology.
* A clear communicator who can translate and summarise technical project information into clear, concise and easy to understand communications.
* Good at keeping project records up to date.
* A working understanding of industry standard project management methodologies such as PRINCE2.
* Analytical, curious, and always looking for smarter ways of working.
