This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office a minimum of 2 days per week

About the role
We’re excited to be looking for a Business Analyst to join our PMO team to help enhance our processes and drive positive changes across NCFE.
We’re a passionate team focussed on delivering impactful changes across NCFE. You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive environment which thrives on understanding the needs of the business and translating them into positive outcomes that align to our strategic goals.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and shape projects that drive strategic change. You’ll use a variety of techniques, such as workshops and interviews, to gather and define business requirements. You’ll also engage with stakeholders at all levels to present findings and gain buy-in for innovative solutions.
How you’ll make an impact:
1. Collaborating with stakeholders across various teams, including Operations, IT, and Architecture, to identify and understand their needs, translating complex business problems into clear and actionable requirements.
2. Mapping out and documenting the 'as is' and 'to be' business processes, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of current systems and processes, and creating a vision for future improvements that align with project and strategic goals.
3. Facilitating backlog refinement sessions and working closely with the Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure requirements are fully understood, prioritised, and ready for development.
4. Challenging assumptions to ensure that proposed changes and improvements are not only viable but strategically aligned with our long-term business goals.
We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following:
5. Experience in eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements
6. Proficient in leading workshops, presenting ideas, and achieving consensus on solutions from a range of stakeholders
7. Proven experience of working on multiple, concurrent projects and systems with positive outcomes
8. Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence and develop effective working relationships at varying levels of seniority.
9. An understanding of SCRUM/Agile development as well as waterfall methodology, Lean methodologies such as Six Sigma
10. Experience of backlog management tools DevOps/Jira
