Overview

This position supports profitable business growth and maintains existing customer relationships through commercial proactivity, creativity, insights, and analysis.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily workload and prioritise effectively.
* Set up estimate specifications with close attention to detail to estimate cost and provide accurate works instructions and purchasing requirements.
* Proactively research alternative manufacture/supply scenarios to identify the most cost-effective solution while considering technical issues.
* Utilise historical or market information to assist with price setting, collaborating as required and observing the company’s authorisation process.
* Prepare quotations or proposals in a timely manner, including tenders, questionnaires, and presentation materials where necessary.
* Collaborate with the sales team, offering proactive advice on commercial offers and selling prices to support the sales process and win profitable business.
* Attend project briefs to ensure pricing considerations are observed and advise on budgeted costs to other departments.
* Provide reporting and commentary on accounts, including insights, learnings, or opportunities.
Qualifications / Experience
The role requires being a good team player with strong analytical abilities, adaptability, and attention to detail. It also calls for proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and clear verbal and written communication. This is a commercially focused, analytical role demanding creativity and meticulousness.
