Café Assistant Location: Basingstoke Aquadrome, Basingstoke, RG22 6PG Salary: £12.71per hour plus excellent benefits Schedule 3 - month fixed term contract, Part time 18.5 hours per week, shifts: Monday & Tuesday 1pm - 5.45pm, Wednesday 10am - 2.30pm and Friday 1.30pm - 4pm, overtime available during busy periods. Your work will support positive experiences for visitors and contribute to a friendly environment that brings people together. You’ll be part of a team that cares about quality, consistency, and making every interaction count. From preparing drinks to keeping the café running smoothly, you’ll help create a space where our customers feel looked after and valued. What you’ll do as a Café Assistant You’ll be entrusted to: Greet customers warmly and take food and drink orders. Prepare and serve beverages including coffee, tea, and simple food items. Operate the till and handle payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness across tables, counters, equipment, and service areas. Restock ingredients, supplies, and display items. Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Support opening and closing routines. Does this sound like you?
