GANGER / CHARGEHAND (LEVEL 3) - A57 PROJECT MSSI Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced Ganger/Chargehand (Level 3) for the A57 infrastructure project. This is a long-term opportunity running through to February 2026, ideal for a proven Ganger/Chargehand with strong leadership and highways experience. We are looking for a reliable Ganger/Chargehand who can take responsibility for supervising site operatives, coordinating daily works, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity on a busy civil engineering project. Job Details Location: A57 Project, SK14 Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until 27/02/2026 Pay Rate £20.36 p/h - PAYE Direct Rolled-In Holiday: 12.07% Role Overview As a Ganger/Chargehand, you will play a key role in the delivery of highways and civils works on the A57. Duties will include: Supervising and leading site operatives as a Ganger/Chargehand Coordinating daily tasks, materials, and plant Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with RAMS Liaising with Site Supervisors and Engineers Maintaining productivity, quality, and programme targets Providing hands-on support to the workforce when required This position suits an experienced Ganger/Chargehand confident in managing teams and maintaining control on a live highways environment. ✅ Requirements You MUST have: Gold CSCS Card Full UK Driving Licence EUSR Category 1 & 2 SSSTS or SMSTS Proven experience working as a Ganger/Chargehand (Level 3) Strong leadership and communication skills Apply Now If you are an experienced Ganger/Chargehand looking for long-term, secure work on a major A57 project, we want to hear from you.
