Ready to Leave Classroom Burnout Behind?

Nurture Teacher – EYFS, Primary & Secondary

Location: Wigan & Surrounding Areas
Pay: £26 - £30 per hour (likely increase from April)
Start Date: Immediate

A Fresh Way to Teach

Are you a teacher who loves teaching but feels exhausted by the pressures of the traditional classroom? This role offers a genuine alternative.

At SEND Inclusion Support, we support teachers from EYFS through Secondary who want to step away from rigid timetables, large classes, and endless paperwork, and move into flexible, relationship-led teaching roles where their expertise truly matters.

We work with children and young people who face barriers to learning, including SEND, SEMH, and Emotional-Based School Avoidance (EBSA). Our approach is focused on nurture, connection, and personalised learning, not ticking boxes.

The Role

You’ll work 1:1 or with small groups in calm, supportive settings such as libraries, learning hubs, or students’ homes. Many pupils may not currently be accessing mainstream education, and you’ll help them re-engage at their own pace.

You may also work with EHCPs, liaising with parents, schools, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure every child’s learning and well-being is fully supported.

This role is ideal for teachers who:

*

Feel burnt out by mainstream pressures

*

Want autonomy, flexibility, and better work-life balance

*

Miss meaningful teaching and seeing real progress

*

Value relationships over rigid systems

You’ll deliver low-pressure, personalised lessons that rebuild confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Who This Role Is For

*

Qualified teachers (EYFS, Primary, or Secondary)

*

Educators seeking an alternative to mainstream classroom teaching

*

Teachers with experience or interest in SEND, SEMH, or nurture-led provision

*

Calm, flexible professionals who value child-centred learning

*

Those who want independence but still feel supported

Why Teachers Choose SEND Inclusion Support

*

Flexible hours and control over your timetable

*

Freedom from large classes, heavy marking, and constant assessments

*

Small group or 1:1 teaching in calm, supportive settings

*

Supportive team, resources, and ongoing CPD

*

Wigan-based office with 24/7 on-call support

*

A chance to reconnect with why you became a teacher
