Permanent, Full time, Monday - Friday
Shifts Available - Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 16:00

A permanent opportunity has become available at our Barnsley site for a Health Safety & Environment Business Partner to join the team. You will be leading the site's HSE framework, providing insight and guidance to improve the behavioural safety culture at Carlton.
The successful candidate will:
* Support in the delivery of the site's HSE framework.
* Advise and support colleagues and teams across the business, acting as a subject matter expert and offering a valuable partnership.
* Work collaboratively with senior HSE professionals to ensure compliance with HSE regulations, challenging positively when necessary to achieve positive outcomes.
* Work with Operational Leads and Senior Leadership to meet HSE Standards.
* Engage with colleagues at all levels to influence policies, frameworks, and projects from an HSE perspective.
* Provide analytical information on trends, feedback, and incidents to develop action plans.
* Facilitate engagement events to promote a safety-first culture.
* Support ISO 14001 and 45001 audits, customer, Sedex audits, and legislative visits.
* Collaborate with HSE representatives to gather feedback.
* Assist with training, education, and competence building across the site.
* Support business continuity planning and incident controller training.
* Deliver training and education to stakeholders at Carlton.
Requirements:
* Industry-recognised professional health and safety qualification (e.g., Chartered membership of IOSH or working towards Chartered Status).
* Experience in writing reports, policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
* Experience with project management techniques.
* Experience providing guidance and addressing workplace concerns at all levels.
* Experience conducting risk assessments.
* Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating health and safety training.
* Excellent IT skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
* Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify risks and opportunities.
