Hours: 37 hours per week
Responsibilities:
* Carry out general clerical and administrative duties such as typing, data entry, filing, photocopying, and email management.
* Act as a first point of contact for telephone enquiries or reception visitors, taking messages and directing queries.
* Organise meetings and provide accurate note taking.
* Work flexibly to support teams across Children’s Social Care.
* Assist with financial transactions as required.
* Complete all required apprenticeship training, including attending college and submitting coursework.
* Follow all Council policies and procedures, including health and safety requirements.
* Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.
Qualifications:
* A good standard of education.
* Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
* A ‘can do’ attitude and positive work ethic.
* A willingness to learn and develop your skills and complete the apprenticeship.
* An understanding of basic health and safety.
* Confidence to fulfil all spoken and written aspects of the role in English.

Apprenticeship details:
Provider: Newcastle College Group
Programme Title: Level 3 Business Administration
Course length: 18 months with around 3 months period at the end for EPA. Contract length will be 24 months.
