Great opportunity to work as a Yard Supervisor for our client based in Portbury. The rate of pay is £15.03 per hour. Overtime is available and is paid at time and a half after 8 hours a day, Saturdays x1.5 and Sundays x2.0. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and the hours of work are: - 7am to 3:30pm Applicants must have held a Driving Licence for a minimum of 2 years. Your Time at Work As a Yard Supervisor your duties include: - Directing and coordinating the Yard Team to ensure day-to-day work is completed efficiently and on time. - Managing the storage of vehicles in line with the customer's quality requirements and to maximise land usage. - Managing and communicate ship's discharge - Maintaining effective Communication at all times - Being responsible for Accident and damage investigations and onward reporting. - Assisting in managing suppliers, their staff and performance. - Assisting in maintaining and developing resources, whether this is labour, buildings or IT equipment. - Being active and responsible for HR Issues e.g., Disciplines, Training, Staff Development, and recruitment.
