You'll be deeply immersed in the full spectrum of planning, design, and project delivery, honing your design and project management capabilities to become a bonafide Subject Matter Expert/SME in W ater and/or Wastewater Treatment and facilities. You must be passionate about & want to excel in municipal water and wastewater unit process treatment, pipeline and treatment plant hydraulics, process mechanical layouts. The Team Manager has a 20 year record of developing & mentoring Water/Wastewater Engineers. Would you consider an exploratory conversation? The selected candidate will have the opportunity to: Provide and apply their technical knowledge in Planning (treatment studies, process/hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, permitting and site planning). Provide and apply their technical knowledge in Design (process design, process / mechanical design, process and equipment selection, sizing, layout of equipment, chemical feed systems). Provide and apply their technical knowledge in Construction (bidding assistance to the client, construction administration around submittal reviews, responses to technical RFI’s and engineering site inspections). Provide and apply their technical knowledge in Funding & Permits (assist in preparing applications, respond to review comments, perform closeout assignments). Perform condition assessments, basis of design studies. Qualifications: B.S. in chemical, civil, environmental or mechanical engineering. Engineer-In-Training and or PE, or obtain within 6 months of start date. 3 years of civil engineering design experience required with a focus on water wastewater treatment facilities design or related experience. Previous experience in writing basis of design reports, preparing process mechanical drawings for water and wastewater facilities, preparing engineering estimates of construction costs and technical specifications. Strong AutoCAD and BIM (Revit) skills. Excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills. SewerGEMS /WaterGEMS/ Process treatment modeling (Biowin) preferred. Membership in AWWA, ASCE and or Water Environment Federation or desire to participate preferred.
