YouTube Video Editor for Educational / Tutorial Content (Long-Term, Per-Video)
I'm looking for a reliable and thoughtful YouTube video editor to help me improve the quality and clarity of my educational videos.
My content is tutorial-based and informational, mostly focused on electrical systems and caravan builds. The goal is not flashy or clickbait editing — I want the videos to stay genuine, natural, and easy to follow, while looking clean and professional.
About the Content
Videos are typically 10–15 minutes long
Mostly talking-head tutorials, filmed indoors or inside caravans
Shot in D-Log (DJI Osmo Pocket 3)
Content is unscripted but based on talking points
Audience is existing and future clients — education is the priority, not monetisation
What I Need From the Editor
Clean, professional editing (tight pacing, remove dead space)
Proper colour correction and grading for D-Log footage
Simple on-screen text, callouts, highlights, and visual emphasis where helpful
Light zooms or framing adjustments to keep attention
Clear structure through editing (not heavy hooks or salesy CTAs)
Final delivery optimised for YouTube (1080p or higher)
Important Notes
Videos must still feel natural and off-the-cuff
No over-editing, flashy effects, or aggressive retention tricks
I value clear communication and openness to feedback
This can become long-term work if we work well together
Budget
$75 per video
I'd like to start with one test video (the editor will be given an example video to work from)

Understanding of YouTube pacing and viewer retention without harming authenticity
